Dr. Elyssa Cacali embarked on her path to becoming a psychologist with a clear vision: to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with strength and grace. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, followed by her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. It was there, driven by a passion for social justice, that Dr. Cacali focused her dissertation on researching effective bullying interventions.

License & Specializations

Licensed in California (PSY31467), Dr. Cacali has dedicated her career to working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families across a spectrum of mental health diagnoses. Her expertise encompasses a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a particular emphasis on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment, an area in which she has completed extensive training.
